News from SSCQD press conference, Qingdao 2008 International Disabled Sailing Regatta will be held from May 8th to May 15th. 119 athletes of 15teams and officers have entered this regatta so far. This international disabled sailing invitational tournament is also an internal-operation test event to test the Olympic preparatory work and provide for 2008 Qingdao Olympic and Paralympic Sailing Competition.

    Qingdao Olympic Sailing Competition will be held at Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center in 15 game-days from August 9th to August 23rd, 2008. 11 gold medals will be on offer in 11 sailing events from August 9th to August 23rd, over 1000 athletes, coaches and referees from 53 countries will come for the game during Olympics.
