1. This is a simplified version of the “Terms and Conditions of Visiting the Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center”. The complete version is available on the official website of the Qingdao Olympic Sailing Committee at http://www.sailing2008.org. Anyone who purchases, holds or uses a Visiting Ticket shall be deemed as having read, understood and accepted the complete Terms and Conditions.

    2. The Visiting Ticket is a ticket for visiting the spectator area of the Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center and the theme park. Due to the special nature of sailing, you may not see the process of the game in the spectator area or the theme park.

    3. Only with this Visiting Ticket can you enter the designated areas in the Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center during the designated time, and leave before the closing time marked on the ticket. The Visiting Ticket is only valid for one admission into the spectator area of the Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center and the theme park.

    4. You should show this Visiting Ticket and follow the instructions when going through the security check.

    5. You cannot resell or trade your Visiting Ticket. You cannot use the Visiting Ticket for any political, religious or commercial purpose without the prior written approval of the SSCQD.

    6. You are not entitled to replace your Visiting Ticket nor receive refunds except as announced by the SSCQD or where required by law. If the venue is closed for some reason, you may apply for a refund.

    7. The SSCQD has the right to invalidate any ticket for any reason at any time.

    8. You consent to be photographed, filmed or taped by the BOCOG, the IOC or their authorized third parties, and any photographs, films, recordings or images of you may be broadcasted, published, licensed and used without any compensation. The IOC, BOCOG, the third parties and anyone who has acquired from them the right to use the materials are not liable to you in any way for its use.

    9. Images, videos and sound recordings of the Games taken by you with a camera, video camera or audio equipment or any other kind of equipment may not be used for any purpose other than private, non-commercial purposes.

    10. Chinese laws and regulations prohibit visitors from carrying the following articles to the venue: beverages (whether in soft or hard containers) and food; fragile articles and containers; musical instruments, including whistles, trumpets and drums; big suitcases; lighters; flag poles, flags of countries or regions not participating in the Olympic Games, and flags larger than 2×1 square meters in size; any signs, banners, posters, leaflets, exhibits, unauthorized video cameras, knives, bats or long-handle umbrellas, long poles, sharp-ended stands for cameras and video cameras, and other objects that may cause harm to people; animals (except for guide dogs); transportation vehicles, devices or equipment(other than strollers and wheelchairs);unauthorized walky-talkies, loudspeakers, radios, laser devices or wireless devices that will interfere with the electronic signals of the Olympic Games; restricted weapons and equipments, guns, ammunition, crossbows, and daggers; flammable articles such as fireworks and firecrackers; corrosive and radioactive materials.

    11. Any behavior that disrupts the smooth and orderly progress of the Olympic Games or violates Chinese laws and regulations is forbidden, such as unauthorized money collection, unauthorized promotional activity or display, and coordinating group use or wearing of branded bags, clothing or anything with obvious commercial marks or symbols.

    12. You shall be responsible for the safety and property of both yourself and any children accompanying you.

    13. Do not smoke in the venue and please visit with polite behaviour.

    14. In the event that you fail to comply with any of the complete Terms and Conditions, the SSCQD shall have the right to refuse your entry, or request that you leave the venue, without giving you a refund or a substitution.
