From April 7 to 9, to enhance the influence and popularity of 2010 Qingdao International Sailing Week and the first International Sailing Summit Forum attended by Mayors of Olympic sailing host cities, a 13-person team led by Chairman of Municipal Sport Federation Zhiwei. Lin that consists of representatives from Municipal Convention & Exhibition, CCPIT Qingdao Sub-Council, City Investment Group, Administration Center of Sailing Sports and QD TV reporters, visited 2010 China (Shanghai) International Yacht Show, i.e. the 15th China International Boat & Technical Equipment Exhibition. Besides, they also attended the press conference held by Qingdao International Sailing Week’s strategic partner France Bonnardeau Group for publicity.

    1. The introduction of promotion activities in Shanghai International Yacht (Boat) Show

    Shanghai International Boat Show was the oldest and largest comprehensive professional yacht event. During these four days, there were more than 400 brands at home and abroad participating with 252 vessels and 126 real ship model works displayed at two pieces of land and water exhibition zones. Over 4-day, transactions exceeded RMB 300 million, Professional visitors, buyers and visitors from over 50 countries around the world attended the Boat Show.     From April 8 to 9, the staff of Administration Centre of Sailing Sports made full use of this Boat show to publicize Qingdao International Sailing Week & Forum. More than 2000 CD-ROM copies and publicity materials have been handed out.12 invitations have been given to Bruno Cathelinais, Bonnardeau CEO, Fang Sicheng, Bonnardeau Asian president of LanGao, Royal Yacht Association, Barry Jenkins, the former President Australia Marine Industry Federation, and Huang Yongwu, General Manager of Double Happiness Company. The staff actively invited sailing associations, sailing clubs and other teams from home and abroad to participate in Sailing Week events.
