In the morning of September 18th, a sailing boat sailed out of the inner harbor of Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center and one dream journey has begun.
Xu Jingkun, a 24-year-old Qingdao man who took part in the 2008 Paralympics Games, will drive his own sailing boat, “China Dream” to begin his round-China seas-sailing. If completed, it will be the first time that a disabled athlete has completed sailing around the Chinese seas alone.
Dalian will be Xu Jingkun’s first stop during his voyage. "Then I will continue to sail toward north until I arrive in Dandong in Liaoning. After that, I will go back in the same way till I reach Nansha Islands. If everything goes smoothly, I will return to Qingdao at the end of this year.” said Xu Jingkun. (Wang Dawei)
