THIRTY-TWO schools have been selected to become the city’s model schools for sailing activities.
The schools, including Wendeng Road Primary School, Taidong Road No. 6 Primary School and Ping’an Road No. 2 Primary School, were chosen from 95 Qingdao schools that offer sailing education.
They will help the city’s sailing activities and youth sailing development.
More sailing activities and international competitions will be held among students.
“An international camp and competition will be held during this year’s Sailing Week and 23 outstanding student sailors will be sent to Germany, France and Spain to exchange with local students this year,” said Lin Zhiwei, vice chairman and secretary general of the city’s Sailing Sports Association.(Wang Yuanyuan, Sun Fei)
