This will also be the first time where our live production will be shown as live in countries outside of China, in the Middle east, Europe, Africa and other parts of Asia.

    -For the first time a Chinese flagged team will compete in the full season of the Extreme Sailing Series and they are presenting their Chinese sailor, Liu Xue, also known as Black, who was part of the Dongfeng Race Team that finished third in the Volvo Ocean Race and who is from Qingdao. We are looking forward to seeing how they perform and we are sure they will have the full support of the public

    - This team will compete along with other 7 international teams where some of the world’s best sailors participate: from world champions and Olympic heroes, many of whom competed at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games here in Qingdao,

    - This week you can expect to see some extremely close racing and boats flying over the water with the new GC32s. Racing will take place from Friday and until Monday. We hope everybody feels as excited as we are about it and we invite the public to follow the racing from the race village.
