    很高兴能够出席2016年第八届青岛国际帆船周暨青岛国际海洋节开幕式。该活动已办了7次，在中国国内外受到了普遍好评，是个全面突出国际开放性、市民参与性、奥运精神的意义深远的海洋盛会。

    It gives me great pleasure to attend the opening ceremony of the 8th Qingdao International Sailing Week · Qingdao International Marine Festival 2016. Having been held for 7 times, this event has won great popularization at home and abroad. As an ocean festival of profound significance, it highlights the openness to the international community, the participation of citizens and Olympic spirit.

    今年主题是“帆船之都助推城市蓝色跨越”。涵盖帆船普及、海洋人文和科技交流、旅游休闲等领域。在该海洋节框架内所举办的活动，会促进帆船专业运动不断地向前发展，同时加深老百姓对帆船航行以及造船业的知识。我深信，每一个参与者都将会从系列活动中得到启发，为自己重新打开无边无际的的海洋世界和帆船航行的魅力。

    With the theme of “Sailing City Promotes Blue Economy”, the festival this year covers such fields as sailing popularization, exchanges on marine cultural, science and technology, tourism and leisure. Activities carried out under the framework of this festival will promote the constant development of sailing and deepen people’s understanding of knowledge on sailing and shipbuilding industry. I firmly believe that all the participants will be inspired from a series of activities to feel the charm of the infinite ocean and sailing.

    今年又是奥运年，世界各国运动爱好者都在看巴西里约 - 青岛的友好城市，为自己国家队加油。2008年青岛迎接了自己的奥运，顺利举办系列奥运水上运动项目，为世界展示了奥运青岛、绿色青岛、人文青岛、国际友谊青岛的新面貌。前几天里，要举办的“传承奥运扬帆青岛”纪念奥运八年专题活动，让我们回顾那些难忘的日子，帮我们回到八年前的青岛，重新感受奥运的气氛。

    This year marks another Olympic year. Sports enthusiasts are paying their attention to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil-Qingdao’s sister city to cheer for their own teams. When Qingdao celebrated its own Olympic Sailing events in 2008, a series of Olympic water sports were well held, which demonstrated the new look of a Olympic Qingdao, a green Qingdao, a people-oriented Qingdao and an international-friendly Qingdao. The special event of “Carrying on Olympic Spirit, Sailing in Qingdao” to commemorate the 2008 Olympic Games the other day recalled us those unforgettable days by experiencing the Olympic Games atmosphere again.

    青岛国际帆船周的国际元素很明显。几年以来有不少国外友人来到青岛参加帆船周的各项活动。在我看来最突出之一的国际项目是俄罗斯 “帕拉达”号大训练帆船的访问。该船自从1989年7月4日建成下水后，曾到访几十个国家、数百个港口，航行距离已超过460多万海里。去年访问青岛来与中国朋友们共同纪念世界反法西斯战争胜利70周年。“帕拉达”号帆船这一次的到来具有浓厚的人道主义的使命 – 不仅仅去促进俄罗斯远东地区和青岛的海洋交流，更重要是去加强两国和两国人民的传统友谊、加深相互理解，为进一步推动全面俄中战略协作伙伴关系注入新动力。

    The Qingdao International Sailing Week boasts remarkable international features. In recent years, a large number of international friends have come to Qingdao to participate in various sailing events of Qingdao International Sailing Week. For me, the visit of Russian training sailboat “Pallada” is one of the most striking events. The sailboat was completed and had its maiden voyage on July 4, 1989. With a total voyage of over 4.6 million nautical miles, it has visited dozens of countries and one hundred-plus harbors. During its last visit to Qingdao, “Pallada” crews commemorated the 70th anniversary of the victory of the World Anti-Fascist War with Chinese friends. Sailboat “Pallada” comes here with a mission of profound humanitarian significance - it will not only promote the marine communication between Qingdao and the Far East region of Russia, but also strengthen the traditional friendliness and mutual understanding between our two peoples, thus instilling new energy for the deepening of comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Russia.

    当在我们俄罗斯和中国一只船离开岸边赴遥远的地方时，我们向它预祝“一路顺风”，我也祝青岛国际帆船周和国际海洋节越办越成功、祝各位运动员取得良好的成绩、祝我们一起在青岛过美好的时光。

    We wish in advance the sailboats of Russia and China a pleasant journey when they set sail to a remote place. Meanwhile, I wish Qingdao International Sailing Week · Qingdao International Marine Festival more success, all athletes good performance and all of you a nice time in Qingdao!
