    大家好！很荣幸参加2016第八届青岛国际帆船周·青岛国际海洋节，与大家一起感受帆船运动的激情和蓝色海洋的魅力。首先，我代表国家体育总局水上运动管理中心、中国帆船帆板运动协会向来自世界各地的朋友表示热烈的欢迎，向2016第八届青岛国际帆船周·青岛国际海洋节的开幕表示衷心的祝贺！

    Good evening! It’s my great pleasure to attend the 8th Qingdao International Sailing Week • Qingdao International Marine Festival 2016 and enjoy the passion of sailing and the charm of the blue ocean with you. To begin with, on behalf of the Water Sports Management Center of General Administration of Sport of China and Chinese Yachting Association, I would like to extend my warm welcome to the friends from all over the world, and express my heartfelt congratulations on the opening of the 8th Qingdao International Sailing Week • Qingdao International Marine Festival 2016.

    近年来，青岛主动适应建设体育强国和全面深化青岛“帆船之都”城市品牌综合优势的新任务、新要求，在重大国际帆船赛事活动组织筹办、青少年和全民帆船普及创新发展、帆船领域国际交流、城市品牌宣传推介、体育产业推动促进方面“走在前列”。相信2016第八届青岛国际帆船周·青岛国际海洋节将进一步增进中国与国际帆船界的交流与合作，为青岛“帆船之都”城市品牌建设与中国海洋强国建设作出新的贡献。

    In recent years, Qingdao has taken proactive measures to adapt to the new missions and requirements of building a sports power and bringing into full play the comprehensive advantages of Qingdao’s city brand as the “Sailing City”. And Qingdao is also a leading city in the preparation for major international regattas, innovative promotion of sailing in teenagers and the public, international sailing exchanges, popularization of city brand, and development of sports industry. I believe that the 8th Qingdao International Sailing Week • Qingdao International Marine Festival 2016 will enhance the communication and cooperation between Chinese and international sailing communities and make new contributions to building the city brand of “Sailing City” and enhancing China’s maritime power.
