    奥运圣火即将在巴西里约热内卢点燃。“传承奥运、扬帆青岛”。首先，我代表青岛市政府，对2016第八届青岛国际帆船周·青岛国际海洋节的举办表示热烈的祝贺！对国内外来宾、运动员和朋友们表示诚挚的欢迎！

    The Olympic flame will soon be lighted up in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Carrying on Olympic Spirit, Sailing in Qingdao. First of all, on behalf of the Qingdao Municipal Government, I’d like to express my congratulations on the holding of the 8th Qingdao International Sailing Week • Qingdao International Marine Festival 2016, and express my warm welcome to all the guests, sailors and friends from home and abroad!

    青岛是一座环境优美、富有特色的海滨城市，不仅具有红瓦绿树、碧海蓝天的独特风貌，而且拥有古今交融、中西合璧的文化特色，正在打造“影视之城”“音乐之岛”和“帆船之都”。作为“发展体育产业、打响奥帆品牌”的重要举措，第八届青岛国际帆船周·青岛国际海洋节推出7大板块、40余项活动，将是一场融蓝色经济、海上运动、海洋文化旅游、海洋科技、节能环保于一体的海洋帆船盛会。真诚地希望各位宾朋共享帆船运动的激情与魅力，感受青岛市民的友好与盛情。

    Qingdao is a beautiful coastal city with unique attractions. Red roof tiles, green trees, azure sea and blue sky constitute its signature cityscape. The culture of Qingdao not only features a blend of modernity and tradition but also has elements from western culture. Nowadays vigorous efforts are being made to build Qingdao into a “City of Films”, an “Island of Music” and a “Sailing City”. As an important initiative to “develop the sports industry and build the Olympic Sailing Brand”, the 8th Qingdao International Sailing Week • Qingdao International Marine Festival launches seven events and more than 40 activities. It will be a sailing festival integrating blue economy, marine sports, marine culture tourism, marine technology, energy conservation, and environment protection. I encourage all the guests and friends to enjoy the passion and charm of sailing and feel the friendliness and hospitality of Qingdao citizens.
