The symbolic sculpture “Wind of May”, welded by the steel, nearly 700 tons, 30 meters high, with a diameter of 27 meters. The upward spiral wind and the red color represent the patriotic tone and national power in May Fourth Movement. Meanwhile, it also symbolizes the vigorous economy and prosperous life of people in Qingdao. Now it has been one iconic landmark of Qingdao in the new century.
