The third"Fareast Cup" International Regatta got underway on Sept1 in the eastern coastal city of Qingdao, Shandong province. Six teams from different countries and regions including China, Japan, Russia and South Korea are competing in the offshore race over a route of more than2,000 nautical miles that goes from Qingdao to Russia's Vladivostok, then returns to Qingdao after a stopover in Mokpo, a coastal city in South Korea.
