In order to further enhance the image of Qingdao as an open, modern, dynamic and stylish city, add bright colorsofthe sea, and provide a platform for sailing enthusiasts of Shandong Province to show themselves, the6th ShandongProvincialOpenRegatta2020 & the 15th Qingdao Open Regatta washeld inQingdao Olympic Sailing Center from August 22 to 23. The competitionconsists of6 levelsand11 groups, attracting 270 leaders, coaches and athletes from 46 schools, sailing clubs, enterprises and institutions.

After two-day fierce competitions, Wang Zeyu, Yan Mingyang, Jiang Xiaoyan, Jing Yuetong, Bai Xiaoyu, Luan Baoqi, Zhou Chenzhang, etc. respectively won the championship ofOptimistboys’ group, Optimistgirls’ group, Splash men’s group, Splash women’s group, and Teenagers Yacht Open and420Open. Shandong Port GroupCo., Ltd. won the championship ofJ80Open. Liu Jiongyu andHu Haoyu won the championship of Radio Sailing U550Teenagers, andRadio Sailing U550Open respectively. Education and Sports Bureau ofWest Coast NewArea,andQingdao No. 1 Middle Schoolrespectivelywon the championship ofOptimistTeam and SplashTeam. On the afternoon of August 23,theAwarding Ceremony was held on the southlaunchingramp of Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center. And the top three ofall levels were awarded.

The eventwas held with strong support from relevant organizations. During the normalization of the epidemic prevention, the organizing committee has formulated safety plans and epidemic prevention plans to ensure asuccessful event.
