Themed“Concerted Effort, Cooperative Development”, the2nd Asia-Pacific Leisure Boat Summit 2020was held on August 7. The summit is a major event of the 12th Qingdao International Sailing Week & International Marine Festival.Duringthe sameperiod, the1st Asia-Pacific Marine Leisure Life Exhibition was launched together with the China Yacht Port Operation and Management Advanced Workshop (Qingdao).

The Summit awarded letters of appointment to experts of China Leisure Boat Development Alliance, issued licenses to new members of China Leisure Boat Development Alliance, and grandly held the release ceremony of 2020"Qingdao Consensus".

The Asia Pacific Leisure Boat Summit was initiated in 2019 by the Qingdao Cruise and Yacht Association, a member of the Qingdao Marine Economic Alliance, with the goal of creating three self-created brand events, including Asia Pacific Rim Leisure Boat Summit, Asia-Pacific Marine Leisure Life Exhibition, and Asia-Pacific Summit Cup Regatta. The first summit witnessed the establishment of the China Leisure Boat Development Alliance, which has an extraordinary influence in the Asia-Pacific region.

According to Chai Zhong, secretary general of the Qingdao Cruise and Yacht Association, the2nd Asia-Pacific Leisure Boat Summit 2020 is the first on-site conference and exhibition with the theme of marine leisure boats in China and even in the Asia-Pacific region since the outbreak of COVID-19. The success of the summit is of far-reaching significance, and the bright future of the Asia-Pacific leisure boat industry can be expected.
