On the afternoon of December 23, the final contest ofPromoting Sailing in Schools — Qingdao Sailing Knowledge Competition 2020 was held in Qingdao Radio-Television Station. 24 sailing-featured schools participated in the competition.

The final contest includes required questions, challenging questions, English quiz, Look-and-Answer and fun games. The whole contest was live streamed on internet and would be broadcasted on Channel 6 of Qingdao TV. The campaign of“Give A Like” was promoted on the internet before the final, which attracted more teacher and student viewers and interactions. 

Through fierce competition, Qingdao Lingxian Road Primary School, Qingdao Jilong Road Primary School, and Qingdao Wendeng Road Primary School won the top 3 in the primary school group. Qingdao Chongqing Road No. 2 Primary School, Qingdao Jilong Road Primary School and Qingdao Taidong 6th Road Primary School won the Best Popularity Award. And the Best Practical Operation Award went to Qingdao Lingxian Road Primary School, Qingdao Jilong Road Primary School and Qingdao Taidong 6th Road Primary School.

In the junior high group, Qingdao No.26 Middle School of Shandong, Qingdao Experimental Junior High School ofShandong Province and No.7 Middle School of Qingdao Shandong ranked the top 3. Qingdao Laoshan No.6 Middle School, No.7 Middle School of Qingdao Shandong and Shandong Qingdao No.44 Middle School won the Best Popularity Award. And the Best Practical Operation Award was given to Qingdao Experimental Junior High School of Shandong Province, Qingdao Laoshan No.6 Middle School andQingdao No.26 Middle School of Shandong.

In 2020, more than 2,200 teenagers have completedsailingoperational trainings, and more than 16,000 have participated in the Learning Sailing Knowledge in Class. For the first time,Promoting Sailing in Schools was introduced in Chengyang district, which expanded the popularity of sailing among young teenagers and made the influence of sailing to a newlevel.
