On the morning of March 18, Luan Xin,ViceMayor of Qingdao Municipal People’s Government, met witha delegation from Macao onsite visit to Qingdao, headed byAlan Ho, VicePresidentof theQingdao-Macao InternationalOffshore Race Organizing Committee andPresidentof Board of Directorsof Macao Convention & Exhibition Association at the meeting room of themunicipal government. Che Jinghua,Party Leadership Group Secretary, DirectorGeneral ofQingdaoMunicipal Sports Bureau, andPresidentofQingdaoSports Federation, accompaniedLuan inthe meeting. 

ViceMayor Luan warmly welcomedPresidentAlan Ho and his delegation, stressing thateffortsshould be made to follow high standards inorganization, enhancethe positive role of the eventin strengthening the ties betweenQingdao andMacao, and present a“dynamic, fashionable, open and integrated”feastfor thecentennial of the founding of CPC, in line with Mayor of Qingdao Zhao Haozhi’s instructions to“strive to outdo the previousevents by making meticulous preparations and organization”. Alan Ho introduced the progress of the event and said that Macaowould endeavor toensure all theworkdone well to make thiseventacompletesuccess.

On the same day, the preparatory work meeting andagreementsigning ceremonyofWynnCup Qingdao-Macao InternationalOffshore Race2021 was held in Qingdao Sports Development Center.At the meetingpresided over byLiu Yu,DeputyDirector General of Qingdao Municipal Sports Bureau, Qingdao and Macao held in-depth discussion and exchanged ideas on theevent’sroute setting, stopovers, crew arrangement, safety guarantee,boats andequipment guarantee, ceremony planning, event publicity, etc. The two sides signed theCooperation Agreement onQingdao-Macao InternationalOffshore Race 2021. After themeeting,PresidentAlan Ho and hisdelegation visited the Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center.
