On the morning of April 22, the press conference ofWynn Cup Qingdao-Macao International Offshore Race 2021 was held at Qingdao International Press Center.Che Jinghua, Party Leadership Group Secretary and Director General of Qingdao Municipal Sports Bureau, President of Qingdao Sports Federation andPresident of the Qingdao-Macao International Offshore Race Organizing Committee and Alan Ho,President of Board of Directors of Macao Convention & Exhibition Association andVice President of the Qingdao-Macao International Offshore Race Organizing Committee attended the conference and introducedthe event.

Che Jinghua introduced that theWynn Cup Qingdao-Macao International Offshore Race 2021is an initiative to run sports topeople's satisfaction, and a new attempt to empower urban development through sports. The race will be dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the founding of theCommunistParty of China, to integrate the new pattern of development with sailing sport as a medium, to create a new platform for diversified cooperation between cities, and to show the new charm of fashion events from all-media perspective. The race aims to dedicate to the centenary of the Party with greater and newer achievements.

The event is jointly initiated by Qingdao and Macao, which is listed as one of the 2021 Annual China Sailing Events.The race will be held from May 10 to 31, starting from Qingdao, going through Ningbo, Xiamen, Shenzhen, Zhuhai and finally crossing the line in Macao. The race uses Beneteau40 sailboat,including therally race andcourse race. The rally race is divided into fivelegs:fromQingdao Olympic Sailing Center to Ningbo Asian Sailing Center, Ningbo Asian Sailing Center to Xiamen Wuyuan Bay Port, Xiamen Wuyuan Bay Port to Shenzhen Seven Star Yacht Club, Shenzhen Seven Star Yacht Club to Zhuhai Jiuzhou Port (honoraryleg), Zhuhai Jiuzhou Port to Macao Yacht Club Marina, with a total distance of about 1200 nautical miles. Thecourse race will be held in Qingdao, Xiamen, Shenzhen and Zhuhai. At present, a total of 9 teams have registered for the competition, with 144 crew members.includinghigh-levelinternationalcompetitors from the United States, Germany, New Zealand, Canada, and Austria.

“永利杯”青澳国际帆船拉力赛青岛站活动将于5月7日至10日举行，开幕式将于5月9日晚举办，船队将于5月10起航。

TheWynn Cup Qingdao-Macao International Offshore Race 2021 Qingdao Act will be held from May 7 to 10. TheOpeningCeremony will be held on the evening of May 9, and the fleet will set sail on May 10.
