The 13th Paralympic WinterGames (Beijing 2022 Winter Paralympics) opened onMarch 4. 

Turning the clock back to 2015, onJuly 31 that year, Thomas Bach announced that Beijing would be the hostcity of 2022 Olympic and ParalympicWinter Games. After the successfulbid, Beijing became the first city in thehistory of Paralympics to host both theSummer and Winter Paralympics.

 As is embodied in “Flying High”,the emblem of Beijing 2022 Paralympic Winter Games, in the high-spiritedarenas designed for athletes to flyhigh, the athletes take their strong willas the wings to pursue their youthfuldreams.
