After the Olympic sailingcompetitions, carryingon the Olympic culturallegacy and building a Sailing Citybecame a major task for Qingdao. Therefore, one after anothertop-level sailing events were stagedhere, gathering sailing enthusiastsfrom dozens of countries aroundthe world. 

At the same time, a series of selfowned brand events are becomingincreasingly maturer. The Mayor'sCup International Regatta, Qingdao International Regatta, QingdaoInternational Optimist TrainingCamp & Regatta and other sailingevents have attracted a vast numberof sailing enthusiasts. Qingdao hasgradually become a gathering placefor various high-end sailing events,with its international reputationand influence continuing to grow. 

Among the events, Qingdao International Sailing Week · Qingdao International Marine Festival, a "bluefeast" bringing joy to the city, hasbeen held 14 times.
