On October 25, Qingdao was  awarded the"World Sailing 2022 President's Development Award" by World Sailing,  becoming the only city to win this  award this year in the world. It is understood that there is only one recipient of the"World Sailing President's  Development Award" every year. Previous award recipients include individuals and cities. This year, Qingdao  won this award for its achievements  in the development, popularization  and promotion of sailing.

To build the brand of Sailing City,  further expand the publicity effect  and enhance the city's influence, the  Qingdao Winning the"World Sailing 2022 President's Development Award"  Symposium and Media Conference was  successfully held on November 1 at the  Media Center of Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center.
