After winning an impressivechampionship in the Clipper2019-2020 Round the WorldYacht Race, Qingdao, the Sailing Capital, has renewed its partnership withthe Clipper Round the World YachtRace and will continue to be the hostport and fleet partner for the next twoseasons. 

The cooperation agreement marksthe beginning of a new phase and anew journey of cooperation betweenQingdao and the UK Clipper Race Organising Committee, which has beengoing on for eight races over the past18 years since 2005 and has becomea close partner with mutual trust andwin-win cooperation. Clipper Roundthe World Yacht Race has witnessed thecontinuous development and growth ofChina’s sailing sport and deepened theconcept of Qingdao as the “Sailing Capital”. By sailing around the world andchasing waves and dreams, the “Qingdao” yacht has shown the wonderfulcharm of Qingdao as “a vibrant oceancity and a livable and lovable city” tothe world. Qingdao, as the city with thelongest cooperation with the ClipperRound the World Yacht Race, will seizeand take advantage of the opportunities and will continue to keep closecommunication and cooperation withthe UK Clipper Race Organising Committee and make efforts to make theevent an important carrier for building the “Sailing Capital” and a strongsports city.
