On November 5th, the Qingdao WestCoast football team held a celebrationceremony for their successful promotion in the 2023 season at the WestCoast University City Sports Center. TheWest Coast Football Club was honoredwith the “Special Contribution Awardfor Football Revitalization” in Qingdao. 

Up to this point, Qingdao West CoastNew Area boasts a total of three professional football teams: the West Coastteam, the West Coast women’s team,and the Red Lion team. It is the onlydistrict in the country with teams participating in the top three tiers of professional leagues, including the ChineseSuper League, China League One, andChina League Two.
