On August 10-11, the 20th Shandong Provincial Speed Roller Skating Open and the Licang District"Fashionable Sports Show" National Fitness Sports Season was successfully held at the Shunhehui Square in Licang District, Qingdao. More than 600 athletes from over 40 teams across various cities in Shandong Province participated in the event.

The competition was organized by the Shandong Provincial Roller Skating Sports Association, with the Qingdao Roller Skating Sports Association, Licang District Roller Skating Sports Association, and the Qingdao Shunhehui Shopping Center serving as hosts. The event received support from the Qingdao Sports General Association, the Licang District Education and Sports Bureau, the Licang District Sports General Association, and the Licang Business District Improvement Work Special Task Force Office.

The two-day event featured professional and recreational categories. As the starting gun sounded, athletes raced against each other amidst cheers and encouragement, demonstrating their superb skills. The sound of wheels whizzing over the ground and the excited shouts from the spectators brought the atmosphere to a boiling point.

The youngest participant in the competition was only three years old. The organizers ensured strict adherence to all event requirements, with medical and security personnel on site. To enhance the experience for participants and the public, the event included online photo live streaming, which was viewed by more than 30,000 people.

After intense competition, the Qingdao Mingao Roller Skating Club, a local club in Qingdao, won the championship in the professional group. The runners-up and third-place winners were the Liaocheng Mingyang Roller Skating Club and the Qingdao Cool One Family Roller Skating Club, respectively. In the recreational group, the champions, runners-up, and third-place winners were the Qingdao Mingao Roller Skating Club, the Qingzhou Xin Dongli Roller Skating Club, and the Shibei District Ice and Roller Skating Club of Qingdao, respectively.

Roller skating is a competitive sport that combines speed, strength, coordination, and technique, making it highly entertaining and challenging. This event provided a platform for roller skating enthusiasts to learn from each other and fostered a vibrant atmosphere of national fitness, inspiring more citizens to participate in fitness activities.
