From September 6th to 10th, the ASAFCup Qingdao International Regatta 2024unfolded in Fushan Bay, attracting nearly100 sailors from 15 teams representingprovinces and cities such as Hainan, Oin-huangdao, and Xiamen. Their spirited com-petition brought energy and excitement tothe early autumn in Qingdao.

This marks the second time the QingdaoInternational Regatta has been included inthe ASAF (Asian Sailing Federation)eventsystem, featuring the J80 class. As a professional sailing competition approved by theChinese Yachting Association, the ASAFCup Qingdao International Regatta servesas a key platform for carrying forward theOlympic spirit and strengthening Qingdao'sbrand as a“Sailing City.” Its successfulconclusion further advances Qingdao'svision of becoming a“Sailing City and aRenowned Sports Hub.”
