From September 15 to 17,the ChinaMotoSurf Open (Qingdao) took place atthe Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center. Theevent brought together over 20 teams fromBeijing, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Guangdong,Shandong, Jiangsu, and more, with nearly100 athletes competing.
As the first offshore race of the 2024China MotoSurf League, the event fea.tured eight competition categories, including Professional(Open and Limited) andJunior (U13 and U16) circuit races.
Motosurfing, one of the“New ThreeBoards’ sports-surfng, paddleboarding.and snowboarding-has experienced rapidgrowth in China in recent years, drivingthe development of related industries. Ithas now been included as an ofcial eventin the 2025 World Games. With strongsupport from the Water Sports Administra-tive Center of the General Administrationof Sport of China, the sport's popularityand participation have been steadily ex.panding across the country.
